My recent addition 'What is...?' was an experiment at writing a very short and concise poem. How people will see it is another matter.
But this got me thinking. What is the worlds shortest poem? (Not including title.)
So I googled it and found it was a piece by Strickland Gillilan (1869-1954) called 'Fleas'.

The man that said .. no man is an island couldn't have possibly understood the meaning of (Epiginosco )! Experimental knowledge based on true feelings of the heart!
What is said about love is true it not only makes the world go around but it the impossible to comprehend glue that bonds all creation together!

'Have you ever petted a wolverine with a cinnamon smile?' I always ask a curt question to decipher the sincerity of a prospective employer. Were he to retort 'what?' in a confused or jovial tone I would simply dish him further rhetoric. Such as - 'Have you ever skin dived with a flamingo in the hot waters of the Serengeti?' My purpose being to further unnerve the apprentice to such a point as to truly test his character.

There is a distinctive complex as to how the Atlanta City Detention Center operates. And I am not talking about inferior.
On any given day the arrestees are transported into the ACDC facility by the van loads and commenced the intake process. They must endured being frisked by a police officer who searches them for any contraband or anything they could used to harm themselves or someone else.

I flew down the front step my curly locks bouncing with the hasty rhythm of my gait. When I got to the silver Jetta waiting on the curb for me Lucky was staring at me with a smeared expression of frustrated anticipation. “Dude you could be a little punctual from time to time, yeah?” He was right, I had spent too much time on my early morning projects and had lost track of the hours.
