A Tree Legend

Through beating nights with unyielding honour trembling
Boughs swayed by gales in unsavoury motion
Running man-imposed structures mine home I protected
Decades ago;with a sate heart I pine the less for rejuvination
As my dread state of hampered longevity is a work of man`s hand
Delimiting my perenniality and now I`m withered.

A Twofold Monster

Having attained it and all ceremonies congratulations done past,
Like a bullfrog swelling in emptiness and croaking
They puff in misplace honour forgetful of the tree they descend;
Sliding in sleek machines which credit tuneful song
Self-worshipping the gathered harvest fast blurring in speed
Their main identity winding in the tumult of this world.

A Herald Of Forgotten Dreams
Dew mottling the tawny boughs
A rustling breeze contours the forest,
The foot clamps the rain-soaked earth
Revealing a bewildered toad leaping evasively;

Vigour-thewed mottled with bright auburn bonfires
     Of gone tenure vivid strife coupled with strive,
The crimson redolent walls sparkle the memoir
    Of A Herald Of Forgotten Dreams.

happiness is found at a cost
because when is something ever free
they'll charge for each smile
each laugh you let slip in
they'll tax you for each grin
and make you think happiness is a sin

I listen In Quite

I listen in quite the rain
With the talent I seem to lose;
Another harping rhyme comes
Amid myriad others banal,
The mind once imaginative;
Able to compose sound lines,
Paint beauty at it`s best
Lament youth sophistries
Narrate my light accordingly.

Tell me,how are pleasures there
Do you hear the surfing waves
Retreating and again harnessing.
Are you abreast with the boisterious;
    Relishing the noise of pleasure,
Scuffing the shore sand diving on brine water.

It started with smiles
and little gestures
to show we were okay

that transformed into
accidentally bumping into each
and talking a bit more than usual

first game, i sat with you on the bus
and that pushed the ball
faster and faster

It's Like A Jungle Sometime,
straight to the heart we get a brand new start

Shooting pool down at the bar
Sipping on the Cool Aid watching those honey's

Say you have to act your age
but what do they know

This
Just calls for a second thought
Of what is
And what's not

Bordering on
Being ridiculous
Am I short?
Maybe not
