Light keeps coming in uninterrupted
by obnoxious droplets that keep leaking from the sinks

Nostalgia…
A feeling that runs back
To the yester years…
When stress was unit test
A music competition around the corner
A project to be submitted along side
When rivalry was over a tiffin

Such simple pleasures I prefer

The sound of bird’s call is moving
But It cannot break you’re heart.
I prefer the simple feel of things

I got too close to your flames
I retain the scars internally.
I got too immersed in your eyes
Now I’m transfixed on your absence
I relied too much on your words.

It is a danger to wonder.
My heart will cease to beat
It’s murder to remit the thoughts.
It is crazy to daily daydream
Corrode my veins Drain them dry;

Since when did I become the fucking Grim Reaper?
Did I wish this on myself?
Is it payback? More likely Karma!
Following me reminding me of the mortality
I took for granted so easily.
Drawing me in making me participate
Listen to the screams of agony
The sweaty whispers pleading for death

Cruddy downward eyes
I arise with sticky feet
Brainwaves bind
Weak week this week

What for why?
I served my time
