today I died inside a corpus shell

There`s nothing idyllic about the contentious bone of land
Pitting us the natives with our fair-skinned compatriots,
Dimwitted pundits flamboyant in protruding bellies `re astonished
Beating about the bush hiding beneath their thumbs at loss.
