Today is yet another day. Not boring nor happy. Just plain. I sit and stare at the ceiling. It looks whiter than I remember it to be. If only my insides were white like the ceiling. How nice.

The hour of this day comes like a thief in the night. Calling out from deep within. Do you have what it takes to linger on? Frankly, my sails are down. The mast is broken. I have no drive nor the impetus to carry on. Of course, the people are my fuel for keeping that little flame of life going...

There`s nothing idyllic about the contentious bone of land
Pitting us the natives with our fair-skinned compatriots,
Dimwitted pundits flamboyant in protruding bellies `re astonished
Beating about the bush hiding beneath their thumbs at loss.
