Its causing tension
A dark secret
A cold confession
Time to make a choice
to live or die
Scared of both

Monsters on my mind

Alive in the dark studying sounds
3 1/2 months 1 1/2 pounds
water surrounds me but please don't worry
5 1/2 left and I'm in no hurry
when I get bored I kick and swim
but I'm getting confused mommy where have you been
you use to speak to me day after day

A baby born alone
born in so much pain
a baby born in solitude
born without a name
this child knows no laughter
he only knows the pain
this child sees no sunshine
he only sees the rain
forced to live a life sad and all alone
he roams the streets of emptiness
cause he doesn't have a home
he watches from a distance
families playing in the park
he studies there emotions
cause his were taken from the start
life without a mother lost and so confused
life filled with loneliness
cause the drugs that she abused
living in a neighbor hood not noticed by a soul
he is labeled as a nobody
and its out of his control
speaking to her gravestone
the only family that he's known
praying to be noticed
with a gravestone of his own
