I have learnt to love in darkness
Behind closed windows and doors
In dark corners and alleys
Places where no one dare goes

When the curtains are drawn
And closet doors are closed
I know it is my time to love

Contemplating my destination, I proceed higher and higher.

Promising myself, “I will not look down nor will I let go.”

But in the mist of my path, my journey begins to crumble before my eyes.

Summoning a waterfall

He fills the sea

Commanding sweet hail

Into its milky depths

His steely trident

Churns up a maelstrom

Raising a soaked raft of leaves

When the night falls

Sleep catches up with all

Until the morning calls

Not for anyone to know after all

In the dip of the night

When all our eyes are close

There comes a bright light

Then another world arose

I am a while away from marriage
and the laugh of our premature conflicts.
But right now we both laugh in the dark, together
but worlds away, or just above my kitchen.
The room we are in burns with bliss
and I know you know so.

A cold breeze on your neck

A shiver down your spine

The wind through the trees seem to whisper

You’ll be mine you’ll be mine you’ll be mine.

Tongue twisting round,

Ears pierced by the sound.

Mouth spewing lies.

Your face,

Wearing a disguise.

If you have ever crossed her path,

Finally I've done the dishes I had left before i met you for the last time

Drops of hearty soup dried on forks and knives,

sharp and cruel like the tingling in my bones

as silent as snow covering us when

we walked in wordless violence,

side by side

Within my withered garden moss

By fate and faith both odd and lost

Once I a flower came across

Which shone in penance like a rose.

The buds were blood, the petals matte

Not like any I ever met

Since the name’s to me unbeknownst

I called my flower simply “rose”.
