Quietly to wind blows,
Silently the sun shines,
Memories of spring,
Fill my dangerous mind,
Next to me you lay,
Staring at the clouds,
If only you knew,
Of all the things,
I wish to tell,
What thoughts filled my mind,
And the feelings that i felt,
The things I wanted to do,
And the regret I still feel,
I attempt to speak,
But something holds me back,
The smile upon your face,
The smile that means so much,
The smile worth gold,
Something i must protect,
Maybe not knowing,
Is better than a frown,
And all this knowledge,
Comes at a price,
I close my lips,
Knowing where happiness lies.
