She said no

Rough hands hold her down

She can feel the ground

Scraping her back

Clothes being ripped

Who is that screaming

She realizes its her pleading

She said no

He acts like this is a game

Why can he not feel her pain

Ignores her cries

She is fighting for her life

He ignores and just carries on

Just steals what he wants

Like she is just a piece of meat

Violated and abused

Like her body is not hers

Just being used

For his sick fantasy or fun

The pain in her throat proves

How hard she is screaming

She shouted stop

This is not a bad dream

A tortured reality

He finishes his sick act

Runs away

To in shock to move

Broken, confused and used

Adrenaline and survival kicks in

She runs home screaming

People act like they don’t

See her

Shower steaming hot

Tries to scrub the dirt

And memory away

Not enough to wash

The pain away

Body aches

Covered in cuts and bruises

Needs to tell someone

She said no why didn’t he stop

Climbs under the duvet hides away

Brain tormented

While he is boasting

Does he realize the damage he has done

Tablets clutched tight in her hand

Feels this is the only way out

Relives it over and over in her head

This is not her fault

She did not do anything wrong

She said no

She gets up throws the tablets away

Picks up the phone and dials

Before she changes her mind

She says to the person on

The end of the line

I need to report a crime
