Fresh slices of sunburst oranges surround the dough colored pancake clouds

While the lonely lonely moon stares down at the canvas of a new blue day

Earth’s oven bakes the dirt brownie ground heating into summer colored clay

And again the marble spins around breaking into the sound of human waves

                                                .

The wet summer drips with relief knowing another day begins

And I breathe in the sunrise holding it in, eating it, and loving it

Exalting this sweet taste of so many beautifully dressed sunsets

I must exhale finally leaving myself for earth to dine on

                                                .

Blood of man mixed with living time

Earth is drinking of man’s sweet wine

And dutifully we must gladly pay

Into such a beautiful plan- until we stop- we never pay
