Well I do remember

The music that led me

Into the night and dreaming day.

The music of the piper

Leading me astray.

And I do remember

A world of mysteries and hope

Inside the books I had.

Colourful no more

Words wasted and sad.

But maybe perhaps

I am a forgetful adult now,

To the wonders and joy

Of being a child,

To the beauty and bliss

Of a first kiss,

My first steps into the wild.

The first spell I ever did learn

To be oblivious, and alone

Realisation

Home would never be home
