I choose the blues I selected the tools. I’m the tester of the jester. I guessed wrong and got bested ; I truly did admire his moves.

I sit here in aw and gazing I stood there defining ; My thoughts were that I could beat the rules.

I would have

the ice in the glass shifts as it
slowly melts into the beautiful caramel
colored whiskey
with each sip a warmth holds me
like a fur covered glove
lulling me into its safety
from the icy winds that bang at the door

no dream ever brought me such pleasure
no dream ever brought me

I'm at my wits end with you

You have me so frustrated beyond repair

I'm at a loss at what to do

I'm so furious I cannot even speak

I'm so tired of the rude comments

I'm so tired of the laser burning stares

I'm tired of the indirect

They took me away
so far far away

My sister and I alone together
so hungry we were as light as a feather.

We were taken to this loud obnoxious place
Forced to live in a very small space.

Only let out to feed and and relieve ourselves

when the lid refuses to release the to-go mug:

1. Insert straw into the opening of the grown-up sippie cup.

2. Funnel sugar crystals into straw. Watch them slide into the java liquid and mix.

3. Pretend you are three years old. Blow bubbles down the straw. Do not inhale

she struck the root
  that sprung the tree
stabbed the heart
  to watch it bleed

its sap she drank
  in orgasmic greed
tapping the essence
  to build her strength

sunlight was denied
  as knowledge was forbidden
its branches forced to bow
  in total submission

love was the word

Dogs howl ghost's bark
Fills the night
Like electric light
Bones chill behind the window
Sealed visions remain locked like
chains
Always rain
Some feeling rain
Others getting wet
Barbarian’s sweat
Still alive cycling as rain
Was sweat then rain
Nothing can be contained
Forever not your wife
Not your son
Nor the

So very unpleasant to

Your scent ribboned around the pillow last night
and tied up my subconscious as I rolled over.
I reached for you the sheets getting in the way
tangled around each other and nothing blanketing me.
You take all of the covers sometimes so
for a moment I dreamed you were there
innocently
