There’s strangeness in your fingertips
And coldness in your glance
Each embrace another icy clutch
Unholy and unnatural
Distant and severe
Within the landscape of your alien touch

You revel in your nonchalance
And flaunt your ample cool
As though love alone 

could never mean that much
It’s not that you’re indifferent
Just bound

A fermented pungent residue
Rising up sour-dry
Wilted rose and wooden
On the ruffled cuff of lofting oxygen
With carrion abandon
Diffuses pirouetting
Sending porous epidermic impacts
Seductive timbres of dilapidation
To consummate intoxication
Of several flying fruit flies
Slowly succumbing
In steady descending spirals
To eventual glorious oblivion
As lifeless bodies lost and floating
