Shall god bless me?

That I may walk this path

Were modernist cannot last

And never know the sweetest snow

Alone with the coldest winter blast

Or how the snow releases heat

And raise the soul from winter deep

And soar where city can never know

The love of a natural Inuit soul

Envy thee Inuit

A love bloom grown in the void

Snow rise of the morning glorious

Truth the only language spoke

Except the tall fish tale jokes

Sight and scent of warm Caribou

Embrace the truth of solitude

The simple oval god stack stones

The journeys end that ends alone

Envy thee Inuit’s

Envy their way

Subtle devourer of light

Where only night fights day

May god bless me to walk this trail

Lifting and filling

The warmest winter sails
