A day so bright
The radiant sun
Has almost killed
The darkness
Under his feet
Yet this day has in it
Thousands of Smile tears grief sorrow
Smile and laughter
Fear and disgust
Engulfed in itself
This day bring us together
And takes away someone special
It makes us smile
Also brings tears
Where strangers become soul mate
And closest fall apart
It teaches us through experiences
And shatters us with fears
When you feel relations grow
Yet feel the pain
That it ever was
Do I embrace "today"
Or keep it at bay
