The Book?
Blaze ideology with forgiveness in tongue.
Age bends knee’s with the regrets of the young.
Alter faith in promises of love.
Bread becomes body when grapes bleed wine from above.
Father’s shine on holy sons when no one sees ghosts;
While flesh drinks blood in universal toasts.
Bless this paper with words bound in The Book.
Give thanks to the trees for the sacrifices we took.
Organize souls with consequential destinations.
Storied redemptions require suited indignations.
Steal these times, and leave Sunday for the chest.
Shake a stranger’s hand, and let peace be with the rest.
Veil these sinners and let them speak their wings.
Truth purifies the melody, while Jezebel laughs and sings.
Bless this paper with words bound in The Book.
Give thanks to the trees for the sacrifices we took.
