Jason Czebotar
Raleigh, North Carolina
My name is Jason, and I have lived in Raleigh, North Carolina for about a year as of May 2010. I have lived in a few places since leaving my parents(mother and step-father)nest in 1994. I went to college at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, where I majored in Psychology and minored in PR / Journalism. The day after graduation in December of 1999, I moved to Chicago where I lived for three years. I love all that Chicago has to offer, and living in Wrigleyville was one of the best times I have had to date in my life.
I left Chicago in August of 2003 to accept a position as Executive Chef at my Mother, Debbie's, resturant called Bottles in Lagos, Nigeria. I spent 2.5 years as the Chef at Bottles in West Africa, before I headed back stateside. I settled in Fort Myers, Florida, where I lived for 3 years before moving with my girlfriend, Dawn, to Raleigh. I was born in Milwaukee, but grew up in Houston, Texas as my parents got divorced when I was in grade school. That is the basics.
Who I am is still a work in progress.
Where I come from is a bit left on the social side, and a bit right on the economic and political side.
Where I am going is a great question. I just got on the bus so I guess I shall see if I enjoy the ride, or want to take a different route. Either way, I am going somewhere, because the alternative is unacceptable.
Cheers,
Jason
