LIES

You said you'd never leave me.
You lied.
You said you'd always love me,
yet you lied about that too.
Till death do us part was the promise, 
but even then you failed to speak the truth.

So I said I never loved you.
I lied.
And I said you never hurt me,
but I lied about that too.
But when I said I didn't need you, 
Unlike you...

I spoke the truth.
