Oh blackbird where has your raven gone
I hunger for the taste of one more song
Words you fell like clear cut clouds
Thick threw love and Venetian fog
A poet writer sketch and paint
One more song so I might faint
.
Sing blackbird
Ravenous –beautiful- soul
That which mirrors you
Sing once more for
Vango
.
My sunlight is quickening
My shadow is thickening
But for your song
That I might rise
To kiss your poem
Sewn to my eyes
.
Then and only then
To fade past memories
Along an old dirt road
Against the comfort
Where clear clouds row
Where fog must lye
With graveyard spies
Once more before
I say goodbye
