Oh little salamander,
How I loved you so,
Light, light green with one red spot,
I will miss you now, you know,
I saw you lying dead in the driveway,
Rotting on the ground,
No more peeking out from in the bushes,
No more little lizard sounds,
Oh little salamander,
You were just too pretty,
The kitty cat must’ve killed you,
