You Are Now.
There was a look in her eyes that intrigued me
It said so much but still she held her silence
I cupped her face and said believe in me
You have nothing to fear if you take that chance.
A tear escaped her eye and rolled to freedom,
I took her into my arms, pulling her into me,
I whispered into her ear, giving her the reason,
I told her why I was here and not with them.
'You are now', I said, 'they were then.'
