life is like a game of pool. its not you win some or you lose some. because you only have one life. one game of pool. you have to put everything into the one game. it is the first last and only thing that you should do.
the first part of life pool is breaking the choices up. you gotta make a choice. what do you wanna be. stripes or solids.
then you have to start potting those balls. the balls being all you decisions in life. in 'life-pool' there is an infinite number of balls, for every decision you make. if you pot a ball the decision you decided to take action on worked. if not you have a situation.
you need to pot each ball but also think of the balls in the future. align the cue ball to pot the current decision and the next few.
when missing a pot.... someone else will influence your next decision when you get your turn back. because you likely wont be on the same colour that you were before. sometimes you might over/under hit the cue ball and not be able to reach the next decision as you had planned. you must make adjustments, and quickly, to right the problem at hand.
some pots are harder to make, you dont always get to choose the easy decisions.
so you go through the potting and the missing in a back and forth fashion, hoping you get more easier decisions than otherwise. you get older in life and the balls become more scarce harder to make, more at stake if you miss. but finally you get to the final ball of your life. the black ball. you must pot this ball. when this ball is potted, hopefully not a mistake early in your life then the game is over. how it would be to not have to pot the black ball. no more decisions but just living. no death no end of the game. but there is a black ball. dont wait too long to pot it, someone else might get it before you.
