All roads lead to tranquility bay
Each and every river flows down to the sea
But I am lost upon this road
And no tranquility have I found
The sea is millions of miles from me.

And the curse it has been
That I should look into her book
And read the memories
As the sky outside, was ready to die
Before I shed my tears.

“All roads lead to tranquility bay”
So it was written down.
But the fraying edge of the yellowing page
And the clotted crust of ink,
And the drying tears upon my cheek
Had leaked all tranquility from me.

Why should she die so young and live?
My heart was asking me
But the answer remains elusive, and strange
Though the words are all but clear;

“All roads lead to tranquility bay, where the frown on my face disappears”.
