A thousand years have forced the rain
To fall to its death again and again
And a thousand winds will shake the trees
To tear the leaves bare and naked in the breeze
Faces will change and they will show
How ignorance can grow and take hold
Thousands of times thousands of
lives
Never the same,
One day we anticipate our sun,
the next our rain
And this love that we need, where
is it now?
Its presence I feel through my
heart anyhow
The struggle is never ending,
Against evil we do not recognise,
hidden in truth
Concealing lies,
But one more time, will I realise
That a heart of yours I cannot
despise
Human, forever in my eyes
You and your thousand smiles,
Will never shine forth through my
sunrise
In darkness I will hardly
remember
The sound of your voice saying
“forever”
Just keep the words in mind, I
tried, and tried
But you stayed far away in
distance and mind
And then a thousand years too
shall pass
Memories of all will die at last
In this world we are asleep
And do not know what we have
until we
Lose our happiness to the deep
seas
Of Past, of Sorrow
And regret that will last
The struggle is never ending,
Against evil we do not recognise,
hidden in truth
Concealing lies,
But one more time, will I realise
That a heart of yours I cannot
despise
Human, forever in my eyes
