Empty house with old chandeliers Hanging bright
Huge painting
Clinging on to the walls
Almost saying aloud
Never let go
The curtains loosly dance
To the melody of the wind
That blows
From the open windows
Overlooking the deep grey sea
So calm
Perhaps tired after
A stormy night

The walls that recognize me
The warmth in the rooms
That extends their belongingness
Almost as if
They know me by my fragrance

The terrace where
I got drenched everytime
It rained
The trees
Bent down to
Give me their first fruits
The flowers
That blooms every summer

And as I reminisce
Beautiful careless memories
Take me back
To my childhood
When I played with my doll…
Like a child,
I shout out my name
The Echo,
Responds to me
Makes me believe
They are around
A feeling of hope
A feeling of faith
Reassurance..
“We will always be”

This is my heaven..
This is my abode
