There was a woman

Who would pray day and night

Statues of her husband

Conceived fights along the nights

Years has passed

She can't realize,

That taking him to church

Might be the righteous path

Another sunday morning

And he's not home

She's putting on her dress

As she calls his cell phone

She says " Hi baby, are you going with me today"

He looks at his watch and says "I'm on my way"

He kisses the mistress and says "I love you"

Been out all night but he keeps his cool

The ignition is started

His faith has departed

Living in denial

Carefree of a cold gossip
