If we could only drift away for a while
away from all the troubles that seems to go on for miles
If we could only push it away
Like the waves in the ocean and let them go astray
If we could put them on a boat
and let them go a float
If we could only drift away so the pain we are feeling would,nt stay
we can't get away from our minds
To leave all our troubles behind
We can put them away for a time
Yet , it always returns somewhere down the line.
