Who knows what is inside us all?

The barrenness of the soul,

A flat, dark wasteland under tremendous pressure,

An ocean, with depths unexplored.

Only violated by the few who dared explore these parts unknown,

Will ever know the vast potential that is hidden in the darkness,

But it will take time.

For the vast chasms that are so hidden, no one knows what’s there,

The peaks and gullies, and creatures we cannot recognize,

But where it seems the most hopeless, there yet life exists.

Just as heat, pressure and time can create a sparkling diamond,

The elements also foster the hope of a life not known existed.

Because if you look with the light inside of you, what will you see?

The beasts of the deep, of which are scary, beautiful and new.

That the emptiness that pervades in all directions isn’t fully isolated.

Good, bad, we all own the burden of responsibility and choice.

Who do you want to feed?  What do you want to nourish?

No one knows the vast potential of the soul.

But every day, every minute, every second, we learn more.

So remember, existing is living.

And then slowly, slowly, drift up and up and up,

And into the light or darkness that pervades the world once again.
