Poets Anxiety

The fear of ink,

   That stiffens me so,

Words left unsaid,

   The dam in my flow,

Verses written in,

   Cerebral mode,

No time for paper,

   Rhyme on the go,

Poetry slammed,

   For myself alone,

Only stored once,

   In the core of my bones.
