Rigel

There is a star a phoenix of the skies. A warrior’s light and raven’s tail Rigel. How sharp your eye and arrow? How strong your voice and bow? Rigel the storm of falling stars as eternal as you shall never be. Or as infinite in their celestial beauty

Above and beyond, you and the horizon are one.

As blue as the sea could ever be, or the night could ever dream Rigel, they say you are

millions of light years away. But close to my heart, and the heart of Orion, you will

always remain

Beta Orionis, my beating star, I am your stargazer and follower from afar.

Rigel, you aim for the moon, to lessen its light away from the sleeping three.

You are moving the wind that is shaking the trees.

You are a spirit of magnitude and energy, a supernova in the void of space. A firefly in

the darkness, a lover of lunar grace

Rigel, the sword is by your side, but there are no demons you must chase, eternal is

the sword and hilt, and eternal is its place

Your flaming crimson streaming as a Nebula so deep

Born of serene touches, forever in your heart to keep

And gazing high, your name, Rigel

Is painted in the sky

Two entwined souls breathe in you

Eternally

They will never die
