"Nobody cares nobody cares" The voice inside my head repeats and repeats "Nobody cares nobody cares" Peoples actions and words say different but all I hear is "Nobody cares nobody cares" I want to turn it off Keep it silent Make it but a noise in the background
Yet it continues to creep louder and louder
I show a convincing smile,
Even to myself
In the end I can't help reverting back into the dark place of,
"Nobody cares, nobody cares"
I become a shadow of myself once again
Scared of the dark,
Yet trapped in darkness
Trapped with the words,
Nobody cares...nobody cares...
