I have an MFA in Creative Writing, emphasis poetry, from Northern Michigan University, but in addition to writing poetry, I am now writing my memoir. It is nearly finished, but I'd like to submit some stand alone memoirs to Hennen's Observer.

My husband and I live on the shores of Lake Superior and often hear and see whispers of whitecaps. We sail the great lakes in the summer/fall, and ski and down-hill race in the winter months.

We have nine children between us, and lots of grandchildren.

The upper peninsula of Michigan has an abundance of beauty. Truth and beauty are two things that last, and may leave their mark on mankind almost as long as the written word.

I look forward to reading and submitting to Hennen's Observer.
