Hello! I just graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in English and a concentration in creative writing, emphasis on poetry. I haven't been writing very long, maybe three years or so, but in those three years I have worked harder on my writing skills than on anything else in my twenty-five years of life thus far. Poetry is such a challenge for me, both creatively and emotionally, but the feeling I get when I consider a poem "finished" is the best feeling in the world. As to where I'm going, I'm not entirely sure. Perhaps an MFA, maybe teach from there or go into publishing, but no matter what I end up doing writing poetry will always be there.
