My father was an English major, so I have been engulfed by words my entire life. I sometimes feel the only way I can express myself is through writing, because my physical actions are awkward and not very accommodating to how I would like to present myself (I want to be cool, but I'm such a nerd). I am a lead singer for a band out of Raleigh (punk/garage/alternative). I write all of the lyrics for our songs, and sing with a rage that burns through my soul. My release is my art, and my art is my life.
