Shaquana Suggs started writing her first novel in eighth grade because she was inspired by the movie Interview with a Vampire. She is now working on her M.A. in English at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro with the hope of going into publishing. Other than making the New York Times Best Seller List, she dreams of running her own publishing house, though opening a restaurant also sounds like a fun idea.
