The third of five children born to an American mother and Iranian father, ACiD was born in California and raised in Iowa, Texas, Maryland, Greece, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain. He holds a degree in advertising with minors in English and anthropology. In 2010 he started a graphic design business with his wife Michelle, a painter and graphic designer.
