Diodes of Diamonds

The music and information digitally crept out of the speaker and into my dreams like ice cream. Halfway in and out of here and there curling my fingers I wiped the dark out of the light while I lie trying to be the resistor of snoozing.  I could see the little bits of light refracted through my eye screens, still out of focus from slumber, keys me toward the bright daylight.

The flat black buttons for free sleep lie next to me, taunting me to push them, the buttons are an irresistible temptress of failing, but if you know me, as well as I think you do, instead I pushed my way through the weightless butterflies of freedom, and entered into the world electrified, rectified, recharged in a world with diodes of diamonds. You can probably tell that I get a little too excited about my work; I sometimes get the feeling I own and have created this world by myself, with the help of my father of course. Today I am now after all, a well revered and coveted business icon.  It wasn’t always like this nope, before I began to shine my light on this enlightened world, no one knew which direction to go, they were hanging around the job with no real direction, but not me, I knew alright, I knew all directions lead to a mans castle.  Hell, I’m a natural born Jesus, a genius, a demigod, a stand alone worldly entity. I feel I’ve been created to split your brains with wonder, and to complete your totality of understanding. I alone knew the ins and outs of this world. In this world I have learned the secret of how to maneuver every person I meet on this planet; well, at least that’s what it feel like sometimes. When I first started doing business, very few of the well heeled clients took a liking to me, and believe me when I tell you, they were anything but knowledgeable in my field, or kind in the way they handled me.

The worst of all of these kings of industry that tried to destroy me had to be Ivan Barthelme Ma’ chine. He had a vacuous empathy about me, and how the rest of the people would perceive me.  He took one look at my ruff and unpolished exterior in the beginning and asked me, how can you expect to grow a company out of nothing? As if my ideas were just the fragmented part of the whole picture, they wanted me dead, before the lights of my soul could find the power to shine. What kind of business person tells a boy’s father, that it would take a miracle for your child to become anything more than a simple box boy!  The audacity of these card sharks.  Hell these guys had more holes in their souls than those ancient data cards.  Everyone in every city at first had no faith in my future except my father; they just as soon see me left alone by the dumpster of life.

True I had little or no knowledge of where I was going to end up either, but I knew in my guts and in my brain, I was wired to become something sensational. I may not have understood the totality of what I was to become, but in this arena of competition, I knew I could easily compete with these worldly giants.  There feet were stuck in the mud of business and had shown no growth, or potential outside of their safely constructed rut rails they had trapped themselves in. Now I will be the first to admit, I really didn’t have my future solidly planed at first, but who really does in the beginning, but I made a point to digest every little piece of information about my business I could knowing someday, I would be able to use it anyway I see fit. Oh ya, I proved them wrong alright, and now they all cower below me like future servants of a salvage yard.  I learned how to talk the talk, and eventually run, run faster than these fathers of antiquities ever thought was possible, and farther than these bulbous street signals looking freaks could ever imagine. I ousted these kings of business and now where their crown, and did it all by playing their own game, improving on it, so now they either play by my rules, or I’ll lock them out of the game.

I know a lot of you probably believe this sounds rather harsh and petty, but after surviving the initial onslaught of my attempted murder, and there were attempts to kill me time after time, and they tried every year, but once I had my frame work of the business plan in place, I began getting a bit of work here, and a bit of work there, soon I had become so big, that it was impossible for them to discredit me.  They sent the big guns in with lawyers, paid off politicians, hell they even tried to get my own father to disown me, I mean, and can you believe that? Now looking back and seeing what they must of saw in me, my “possibilities” I probably would have freaked out a little too.  After I became who I am today, and knowing all the crap that I had to learn, the only past event I would change, if at all possible, is the way they denounced my father.  He never did get the credit for making me who I am today, the undefeated, undeniable, and the biggest business champion in the world.  To some I may appear to carry a rather hard metallic facade exterior, and a deceptive empty interior, with I guess a slightly inane personality, but never confuse my signals, or you will be lost like a lamb in Tibet.  Which brings me to what I really love about my work, and that is the traveling.  Traveling everywhere know to man. It’s is on this small planet, I have fallen for humane kind, and have realized that almost everybody is similarly different, and exciting. I believe that the old adage is true. You are what you eat, and I devoured everything.  I left nothing for the coinsurers to sink their teeth into.  Oops, it appears I’m getting extremely busy.  I’m sorry but I have calls coming in I must take. Other phone lines are already backed up so I have to say ado. But here’s my address if you’re in the neighborhood look me up and will get together sometime.  Http//www @ Mr. Internet.

'Hell, I’m a natural born Jesus, a genius, a demigod, a stand alone worldly entity. I feel I’ve been created to split your brains with wonder, and to complete your totality of understanding.' - These two sentences are absolutely amazing. Genius!

I really enjoyed your story and aside from a few spelling and grammatical errors, I'd say it's perfect. Awesome job! I'm looking forward to reading more of your work.
