Her Heart

her heart was like a fire,
spreading in all its warmth,
with dreams of other's desires,
wanting to be her storms,
because their rain would take her flame,
and gently put it out,
and fill it with their own fire,
in color's i cannot pronounce,
and two would become one,
for the rest of the world to know,
but they still had their secrets,
that the fire would never bestow,
but this girl is trapped in her mind,
and i don't think she can get out,
because when i ask her why she's scared,
she pretends to not know what i'm talking about
