Candy Crush

Star InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar Inactive

In a younger sense of my keen childhood,

Who really caught my mind so real and bold?

Exploit such interest in toys they called,

But in verge of my wonder caught on hold;

What makes up Venus is an enigma,

Don't think eye folly leads to dilemma;

Just short glance and I waltz in heart's mania,

As child endears in mother lullaby;

So as me to you has flattering vice,

The candy I hide pops in my chest inside;

Even though as little tot I am has goal,

Decode childhood spells to top it all;

Hear that pumps inside do I need to rush?

When someone told me, "boy it's just a crush!"

Welcome to Hennen's Observer, Art! In your inaugural poem with us this line really stands out: "The candy I hide pops in my chest inside." It's an original metaphor. Thank you!
