Wake up and Behold

Star InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar Inactive

~Starving Out of Hunger , No Bread No Mold
My Offsprings Sleep on the side street in this freezing cold

And your life revolves Around Glamour and Gold
OH YOU SILVER-SPOONED, WAKE UP AND BEHOLD !

~Harvesting my crops , picking up loads
For which my body is now fairly old

Hidden yet Profound , i too have desires Merely Untold

And you buy a Ferrari for the Crops you just sold ?
OH MY LAND-LORD ! Wake up and Behold !

~Playing with Mudcakes stuffed is my slum, Miserable , which Sticks and stones Hold
And you cry over your Mansion not being that bold ?

OH YOU ELITE-MEN ! WAKE UP AND BEHOLD

~Why may i not envy you , why may there be no hates ?
I too am a common man with all the human traits
Relishing one meal a day, For my children i compromise and Mould
And you Whine about your Marks and Spencer not having that one Correct fold ?

OH YOU RICHIE-RICH WAKE UP AND BEHOLD

~OH YOU MONEYED
Nothing valuable can you find when your heart is blind
For life is Meaningless unless you share
For sugar coated words are void unless you dare
For sympathy means Nillity if its bare
For the world has no spare because what trickles down to the poor is rare
For Luxury equates Austerity unless you pair
For your car is of no value if its Only you who can touch the gear
~OH MY PEOPLE !
Wake up and Despair
Act for what is Just and fair !
