The flower breaks the soil

And without toil

Reaches for the sun

But comes the moon

The cycle has begun

Seeds fall to ground

Rainbows and rainfall

The sun and moon go round

Faraway ears of corn hear

Small flowers breaking ground

The cycle again has won

As corn ears also hear

Shade has begun to fall

On a flower in the sun

Dani…7:30 a.m. today

Hot surfaces beginning to swell.
