Unrealistic Reality

I had a dream.. where I could be everything I want to be..

There was no limits..

It was so surreal.. yet in the same time so vivid

I somehow knew it was all a fantasy..

But I really wanted to live it...

It was such a beautiful place...

Full of equality, tranquility and peace

Full of mutual respect, honesty and selflessness

A place where souls are nourished and happiness increases,

A place where every thought matters...

 No mind gets pushed underneath

A place where every voice is heard without taking a beat

A place where I can find a job without someone’s say so..

A place where u can live a decent life...

Without the need to lie, steal or cheat..

A place where we don’t get suppressed, oppressed and depressed all the time just by looking at the streets..

A place without racists, sexists or pessimists..

Am I a fool to dream about such place?

Or am I insane to want something so exquisite?

Something other than my unlivable reality..

Which is taking away my essence..

A reality that’s closer to a nightmare..

Where nothing is fair

Where heartless men  sold their souls to the devil..

And with it they bought this nothing called life..

At the expense of the powerless helpless  people...

They got blinded by this fake brightness..

They got mesmerized by that dark glow..

Forgot god and became godless

I think this is beautiful and it is not a dream, its what so many have been fighting and dying for, for many , many years. This puts me in mind of Dr. King's speech. it hits on notes that he speaks of. Yet then takes it to other levels. Love how...

Love how you you called life this nothing. for that s what we tend to make it, when it could be so much more. what wasteful people we are. love your depth and emotion!
