It comes down upon you- heavy

The past sanctions of your strife

The dice roll and it shows

Your direction choose

A colder lonesome life

.

It cometh down- way too heavy

Like a levy breaking your spine

Lye down on weighted slumber

Nails enter crosses of lumber

Nailing down your time

.

Heavy- oh so very heavy

Disgust, dishonor, and lust

Whickered souls entwining

A lining between God and us

Oh, so fucking heavy

.

Choices made

Sin spikes

A woman’s back

A mad mans mind

Lack of spine-so very heavy

.

Warm light came

We could not change

We planned on luck

Armored veins

Now were so fucked

.

Heavy, so very, very, fucking heavy!

I like the symbolism of this poem. Some of it was very powerful and imaginative.

Herion and friends, (Crack etc) the spike, the armored vien, a symbolizism that kills the soul all the same. Thank You Joshua, I wanted to have the reader feel the disgust of ones own life lost on a one way road.

I think it was effective. I didn't know that it was Heroin... so know it really comes together. Great work!

Very heavy my friend... you captured the cage that becomes life, while snorting those spikes, the shame that's insane, while smacking those veins... well done
