Envy for Robert

Envy for Robert

.

Hauntingly I see you

Surely lusting of life

Snow salt’s butterflying down from trees

White the camouflage like toupee leaves

Flowering into word burning eyes

Curious about things, curious indeed

But stalking, always stalking

With dewy clouds you breathe

In this, the dead cold of winter

You sir burst into spring

.

Wonderment fulfilling

Under the farming leaves

Blessed I guessed

Those feeling

That brings a man to knee

Where was the sun that day?

When came the thawing wind

Rising or setting

Burning or at play

Or along the wheelbarrow sleigh

.

Tell me frosty

Lone wolf

Indeed

.

Poetry me to my knees

.

I know you enjoyed it

Not of any mans fame

But as you ended the day

You broke little flower hearts

Now the sun won’t come out and play

Thank You; I always loved the way Robert Frost Poetry was simple and about those things most important to him at his farm. I though it would be a good thing to remember him with a poem.

Well I think Frost would be proud of this tribute poem. Very good.
