My Harley and I

Take a trip to 575

Loose form for this ride

~~~~~~~
.
Blacktop highway dream
Passing up remembering
Paving memories
.
No time for stopping
Starvation is quickening
The clock is fasting
.
Leather drinking sweat
Shangri-La in the desert
  Liquid sun hi ball
.
The windscreen and I
See clear the destination
Futuristic scene
.
The dark vision stare
Warm mid summer sleepy air
Night rides through day dreams
.
The pipes grow tired
The steel feels fatigue
My bike exhausted
.
Light is our alarm
Sleep has taken the sunset
The dawn awakens
.
Passing the tall tree
Green screams into the glass
Mirroring nature
.
Your language is very evocative. I can see the scenes in my mind and feel the attendant moods. Very well done.
Using the old one two line set up and third line delivery of those first two lines were much on the mind. I wanted to make it all about the ride itself. Thank You Joshua.
