Relax in dissipation

anticipation morning call

anxiety never stalls

with a quick fix

mix of alcohol;

no alarms-no fear

to lighten the load.

Watch how the ice cubes fight

to float in tequila and orange

sun rising, the hour gone

two more drinks down

not a surprise,

never calm limbs numb

-ready now to face the day.

With that being said... it's been a while since I've had to "face the day" but this poem made my stomach turn sour... if you know what I mean

good to hear you havent been there in a while, yes i know its a dreadful place to be... waking up and instead of grabbing for a cup of joe, one is reaching for some jack daniels...
