Cartagena's Son

Star InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar Inactive

Cartagena’s Son

.

Back bent burrow legs digging in

Against the struggling mountain scene

Overgrown weeds meet a farmer lost dreams

Sowing down trails of a slowed down expectation

Steep lives at home alone weep

Praying for the corns safe resurrection

To buy a plot of land

So his son can forever sleep deep

.

In the deep dirt of a fathers keep

You sly dog, hehe. I jumped on this piece as soon as I saw the title. Of course I am making certain assumptions here, but the piece "My Lover" is about, yes, Cartagena. Thanks for creating this piece Vango, I will take it personally. :-)
