imagine you were lying on the ground.

but you didn’t know where.

you didn’t know why.

and you didn’t know how.

imagine you saw the world as if it were flat.

but only because of your place in it.

your place in your life.

and your place in other lives.

imagine you had knowledge.

but you didn’t know what it was about.

you weren’t positive it meant anything.

and you were sure it mattered.

imagine you were someone else.

but it was a stranger.

you want to make a difference.

and only you can do it.

imagine you were trapped.

but you weren’t scared.

you know you had to leave.

and you never tried to escape.

imagine every day.

but you never lived.

you did great things.

and you don’t remember them.

imagine something better.

but you could never have it.

you want it like nothing else.

and every day it’s in front of you.
