The bad scent
   of a wrong move
breaks the dike
   of ancient homicide.
Boiling rage releases
   torrential blows.
A chimpanzee screams
   fleeing as loungers
   give chase
   frenzied.

Surging Sapiens rise
laughing.
Watching through a glass wall
cheering.

Thank you. This happened at a chimpanzee exhibit at a local zoo. The Sapiens reacted to the fight precisely the way the chimps did. Who says we're not distant cousins?

Hmmmm makes me wonder....I saw this poem running through my head in simple black and white illustrations. Good job as always Josh.
