and i would follow her through the thickest fog

until i could see her no longer

at which point i would stop

and form her shape in the clouds of mist

and if i ever left her side

the only way would be the result of banishment

the pain would be so great

that life would not be worth living

the lust and desire drain out of me

i would attend a place of great natural beauty

but this would not be enough to quench my thirst

until a few moments after my starved death

This imagery is really strong and captures the title really well, I am in love with your line "and form her shape in the clouds of mist", that really drives the imagination, and dreamlike feeling of the whole poem... :)"R"
